Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement 2025
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Talentshed Group Ltd has taken during the financial year ending 30th June 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains.

At Talentshed, we're committed to operating responsibly, ethically, and with integrity. We fully support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking across all aspects of our business and supply chain.

Our Commitment

Modern slavery can take many forms – including forced labour, human trafficking, servitude, and child labour. We are committed to preventing these practices and ensuring that everyone we work with is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.

The commitment extends to:

-
Our own team
-
The candidates we support
-
The clients we partner with
-
Our suppliers and service providers

Our Business and Supply Chain

Talentshed is a recruitment business that connects people with purpose-led employers in sectors such as optical, audiology, healthcare, and education. While the risk of modern slavery in our direct business operations is low, we remain vigilant and proactive in assessing and managing any potential risks – particularly when working with third-party suppliers or contractors.
Talentshed Group Ltd operates as a specialist recruitment business with approximately 23 employees. Our supply chain primarily consists of UK-based technology platforms, recruitment advertising partners, and professional services suppliers. We assess this supply chain as low-risk but continue to review it annually.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

We take a risk-based approach to tackling modern slavery.
This includes:

-
Ensuring our recruitment practices are fair, transparent, and compliant with all relevant laws
-
Vetting clients and suppliers to ensure they align with our ethical standards
-
Educating our team to spot signs of exploitation and raise concerns where necessary

Due Diligence Processes
We carry out proportionate due-diligence checks on new suppliers and clients. These checks include:

-
Reviewing publicly available information
-
Confirming that relevant partners have appropriate modern slavery measures in place
-
Assessing any sector-specific or geographic risks
-
Documenting any concerns and escalating them to senior management for review

We will continue to strengthen these checks over the next 12 months.

Risk Assessment
We undertake an annual review of our business operations and supply chain to identify any potential areas of modern slavery risk. While our supply chain is assessed as low-risk due to being UK-based and professional-services-focused, we remain alert to emerging risks, especially within temporary labour supply and third-party technology providers.

Training and Awareness
All employees involved in recruitment, supply-chain management or client relationships receive annual training on recognising and reporting potential modern slavery risks. This includes understanding common indicators and how to escalate concerns confidentially.

Measuring Effectiveness

To ensure the steps we take are working, we monitor:

-
The number of concerns raised (if any)
-
Completion of annual staff training
-
Due-diligence checks completed for new suppliers and clients
-
Feedback from staff on risk awareness

We will review these indicators each year and adjust our approach where needed.

Raising Concerns

We encourage anyone – internally or externally – to speak up if they suspect modern slavery or unethical behaviour. Concerns can be raised in confidence by contacting our team at hello@talentshed.co.uk.

Continuous Improvement

We regularly review our policies, processes, and partnerships to identify areas for improvement. As we grow, we remain committed to strengthening our approach to ethical recruitment and supply chain responsibility.

Annual Review
This statement will be reviewed and updated annually. The next scheduled review will take place in June 2026.
