about the role

We’re looking for a Senior Recruiter to join the team, focused on placing temporary and permanent teaching and support staff into Further Education (FE) colleges across the UK. This is a fast-moving, high-demand market where success comes from building strong candidate pipelines, securing new clients, and effectively managing your growing bank of active contractors.

You’ll manage end-to-end recruitment, from headhunting and candidate engagement to securing contracts and placing professionals into temporary and permanent positions. A key part of your role will be business development and winning new clients - whether that’s developing relationships with new colleges or expanding existing partnerships.

As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll bring experience, a commercial mindset, and a natural skill and passion for business development. You’ll lead by example, working efficiently, spotting opportunities, growing our client base, and helping improve how we deliver results as a team.

You’re comfortable juggling multiple vacancies, building a bank of runners, and filling permanent roles. Just as importantly, you know that success in this market isn’t just about placements - it’s about building a strong client base, identifying new opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships with institutions across the UK.

  3. You’re genuinely driven (not in the way everyone says they are on their CV, but in a real way) - the kind of drive that pushes you to keep going, to improve, and make things happen. You take ownership of your work, put the effort in where it matters, and understand that success is built on consistency, and a positive mindset.
