How do you ensure candidate quality?

We can’t promise every candidate will be the perfect fit – but we go above and beyond other agencies. We look deeper than the CV, really getting to know each person we recommend. Their experience, their goals, even whether they’ll fit your culture – we check it all before sending it your way.

We’re selective about who we represent and always tailor our approach to exactly what you need.

Do you check right to work and compliance documents?

Yes. We can handle right-to-work checks for you, free of charge, using secure digital tools. It’s one less piece of admin for you to worry about and adds an extra layer of confidence to every hire.

How do I get started?

You can raise a vacancy with us directly or get in touch with our team for a quick chat about what you’re looking for. We’ll take it from there.

Do you offer both temporary and permanent positions?

Yes. We work with colleges and providers across the UK to offer both short-term and permanent opportunities.

Do I need a DBS check, and can you help me with that?

Yes. Every education role requires a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. If you don’t already have one, we’ll help you apply (there’s a small fee unless you’re moving into a permanent role).

What’s the payment process for temporary roles?

Most temporary roles are paid weekly (every Friday) through PAYE or an umbrella company. Permanent roles follow the employer’s usual monthly payroll.

What further education roles can I apply for?

At Talentshed, we recruit for a range of positions across the FE sector – from lecturers and assessors to curriculum managers, learning support roles, admin staff, and senior leadership positions.

How do I apply for a further education role?

Do you work with the NHS or private employers?

We work exclusively with private employers – from independent clinics to high-street brands. That means you’ll have access to roles that often offer greater flexibility, commission potential, and a more personal environment.

Are flexible hours, weekends off, or school-hours contracts an option?

It depends on the role and the employer, but we work with a range of opportunities that offer flexible schedules, no weekends, or school-hour patterns. Share what works for you, and we’ll help find a role that fits your lifestyle.
