Optometrist Opportunity in Walton-on-Thames area

You’ll be joining a small, friendly, and well-established high street practice where patient care comes first. It’s a relaxed environment, with loyal, repeat patients and excellent clientele, giving you the chance to focus on high-quality care rather than high-pressure sales.

• Salary up to £55,000 per annum

• Full-time, permanent role

• Based in a high street location, close to transport and with convenient parking

• Monday to Saturday, 9:00–17:30 with 30-minute lunch (closed Thursdays and Sundays)

• Convenient parking nearby – free on-street or behind the practice, 5–10 mins walk

• 20-minute walk from the train station

What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting detailed, patient-focused eye examinations – around 8 tests per day

• Flexible testing schedule, no fixed test times

• Working with a small, supportive team of three, in a friendly and welcoming environment

• Low-pressure sales – most patients are happy to spend and return regularly

• Occasional contact lens work, if interested, but not essential

• Opportunity to become a franchise partner in the future, with full training and support
