Full-time position (4.5 to 5.5 days a week) – part-time also considered for experienced Optometrists

Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, with senior Optometrists earning £65,000+

This isn’t replacement hiring – the team is growing substantially, bringing in three Optometrists and two Dispensing Opticians to match rising patient demand

Testing times sit around 40–45 minutes, with flexibility for senior Optometrists to run the diary in a way that suits both clinical need and personal preference

A genuinely team-led culture – pre-screening and day-to-day tasks are shared fairly, with everyone chipping in to keep patient care running smoothly

Modern, high-spec equipment: brand-new OCT, ultra-wide-angle imaging, a 2.5-year-old Zeiss topographer, and first-rate diagnostic tech throughout

A practice known locally for service, not sales – no rigid policies, no chain-store pressures, and full freedom to work in a patient-first way

Strong staff retention: the Practice Manager has been with the business for over 10 years, several team members for 10–20 years
