We’re on the lookout for an experienced, creative and results-driven Marketer to join our team at talentshed. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, enjoys delivering creative content for multiple projects, and has the expertise to take ownership of key marketing areas with the support of the Marketing Manager.

Who are talentshed?

We’re a recruitment agency – but we’re a little different. Our in-house marketing function is what sets us apart, and it’s played a key role in our rapid growth so far. We create campaigns that generate quality leads for our recruiters, as well as offering agency services to clients including employer brand strategy, social media management, email nurture campaigns, website management and content creation.

And, we’re growing (hence this job ad). As our business expands, so do the opportunities for the Marketing Team to make an even bigger impact – which is where you come in.

Role responsibilities

  • Ownership and delivery of intelligent email marketing campaigns for talentshed and clients, from creative ideation and copywriting to developing automated workflows, ensuring campaigns are optimised for performance and ROI.

  • Ownership and delivery of organic social media across Meta, Tiktok and LinkedIn for talentshed and clients, including management of content calendars, content creation and community engagement.

  • You’ll plan, execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns on Meta and LinkedIn for talentshed and our clients, with a focus on maximising brand awareness and recruitment marketing success.

  • Using Canva, you’ll design digital and print assets, ensuring all content is on-brand and visually engaging.

  • Ownership and delivery of blogging strategy, producing SEO-optimised posts for talentshed and client sites that align with wider content strategies and campaigns.

  • You’ll play a key role in supporting the Marketing Manager on broader strategy, projects and campaign planning.

  • You’ll collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, using your expertise to advise best practices and deliver results that align with their goals.

  • You'll be responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of at least one client website using Wix, ensuring functionality of the site and that information stays up to date.

  • You’ll deliver reports on campaign success, providing insights on email marketing and social media performance to help inform future decisions and ensure we’re always improving.

About you

Our culture is absolutely critical to who we are - and it’s key to our hiring, too. We look for people who align with us on the things that matter: collaboration, authenticity, individuality and work ethic. In terms of the experience and skills needed, here are the essentials:

  • At least 3 years in a marketing role, where you’ve strategised and delivered email marketing, organic and paid social media campaigns

  • Experience managing relationships, either internally or with clients

  • Experience working with Meta business suite, Ortto (or similar email marketing software) and Canva

  • An understanding of SEO in relation to blog and web copywriting

  • Very strong copywriting skills, and experience adapting your writing style for different marketing purposes and brand voices

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to self-start, and the skills to effectively manage your own workload while collaborating on multiple projects at once - oh, and strong organisational skills (said every job ad ever)

And some ‘nice-to-haves':

  • Marketing agency experience would be great

  • A Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Marketing or a related field

  • Exposure to LinkedIn Ads Manager

  • Experience working with Wix or a similar CMS / Web Building software

What’s in it for you?

  • Team events – we work as a team and achieve as a team, so it’s only right that we regularly celebrate as one, too!
